On September 21 and 22, the PROBAT headquarters will once again become the meeting place of the international coffee industry. As in 2018 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the German-based company, leading executives and decision-makers from the international coffee industry will meet again this year for a joint exchange of knowledge and networking at the CONNECTING MARKETS symposium.
The occasion is the opening of the next-generation production facility at the company headquarters in Emmerich. A project with charisma, decided during the 150th anniversary in 2018, the opening is a milestone for the company and at the same time a clear commitment to the production site in Germany. Participants of the symposium can get an impression of the "manufacturing of the future" in the field of machine and plant engineering for the coffee industry during an interactive tour. This year's thematic focus of the symposium is on the challenges and solutions for the industry drivers of sustainability and digitalization.
Outstanding personalities from the global coffee community make up the top-class line-up. They represent the forefront of progressive thinking and action in the coffee industry and provide insights into the current state of the industry and its future. During exciting panel discussions, PROBAT brings international experts from a wide range of backgrounds to one stage to share insights and ideas on the industry's key drivers. In addition, attendees can experience the innovative solutions, which PROBAT offers for the sustainable and digital design of coffee processing in numerous Experience Sessions. A special highlight and proof of PROBAT's innovative future orientation will be the presentation of the first hydrogen-powered roaster. PROBAT is thus already providing important answers today to the questions of tomorrow. "We make innovation and progress an experience. And we present - as in 2018 - our answers and solutions to the challenges of the coffee industry to discuss them with the community," Wim Abbing, CEO PROBAT, summarizes the concept of the successful format.
The symposium intentionally leaves enough room for individual exchange and personal networking - over a cup of coffee, between the inspiring presentations and panels, or during the evening event. After a long period without major events, it is time again for PROBAT and the international coffee community to come together in September, discuss the drivers of the industry, and literally connect markets.
