Your focus of activities on site at the customer:
- Software, hardware and network support of process control systems and machine control systems (PC, PLC); visualisation
- Upgrades and system maintenance
- Installation and startup
- Analysis of malfunctions, diagnosis and repair of existing plants and systems
- Preparation and follow-up of assignments with qualified reporting as well as documentation of technical modificationsp.
Your focus of activities at the location Emmerich:
- Preparation and adaptation of process control systems and machine control systems
- Support upon the preparation of customer applications for process control systems and machine control systems before startup
- Realisation of functional software tests
- Telephonic support of the customer and support during trouble shooting (handling of support business transactions)
- Support during the preparation of quotations for the sales department
- Preparation of wiring diagrams revisions (as-built drawings)
What we expect from you:
- Completed studies with the specialisation automation engineering/control engineering/electrical engineering or a similar qualification
- Knowledge and experiences concerning the programming and startup of programmable logic controllers type S7 and Allen Bradley as well as data communication via TCP/IP, Profibus etc.
- Very good English (spoken and written)
- Willingness for worldwide assignments (approx. 50 % travelling activities)
